Chinook is
considered the finest tasting salmon around. Sushi
restaurants in the area go nuts this time of year.

The
Clackamas River, a tributary of the Willamette, is a
glacier fed river that hosts the return of about
10,000 Spring Salmon. I fish the lower couple miles of
river where the fish are bright as mirrors and the
holding areas plentiful. Reserve Now
The
Clackamas
enters
the Willamette near Oregon City. It’s close to town and gives us the option
to fish the “falls” on the Willamette. Eggs are king and a good bite can
have you eating breakfast in a hurry.
